Students are guided in developing essential executive functioning abilities, including attention, processing, organization, time management, and self-regulation.
Support is tailored to each student’s unique sensory needs through a variety of sensory systems. With a strong passion for engaging students, I provide individualized input to address vestibular, tactile, and proprioceptive regulation.
Every student receives thoughtful support in building the sensory, physical, and emotional skills required to participate in everyday tasks—such as dressing, mealtimes, and chosen activities like sports, arts and crafts, or riding a bike.
Strong communication between therapists and family members is at the core of our approach. Although OT sessions often occur at school, keeping families informed ensures consistency across home and school environments.
Observing students in diverse environments, classrooms, lunch areas, playgrounds, and beyond—allows us to identify opportunities for meaningful modifications. These adjustments are designed to meet each student’s individual needs across various settings.

We implement a collaborative care approach that completes a circle of care around your child. From individual meetings with parents and teachers our Occupational Therapists can gain a clearer understanding of your child's individuals needs when putting together a customized treatment plan. Most importantly we meet 1-on-1 with your child to put all the pieces together before administering care.
Parents can reach out directly by clicking the consultation button. Or email me directly at josh@gladhorizons.com. to find a time for a 15 minute conversation about your child’s individualized needs and our possible partnership.
Glad Horizons will then work with you and your child’s school to find the best time and place for us to meet, evaluate, and work with your child on a weekly basis.
The first two sessions will consist of a multi-faceted evaluation with your child. We will write and share our evaluation and goals, and then meet again with you to discuss the plan of care moving forward.
Your child will begin regular weekly OT sessions and you will receive consistent communication, updates, and progress reports on your child’s growth, what we are working on, and ways to incorporate our progress at home as well.
I specialize in supporting students in their natural environments, whether that be at school, in the classroom, at recess, or at home. I am confident working with a broad range of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), attention-based deficits and sensory processing disorders to name a few. Additionally, I am here to support students without a diagnosis who find themselves struggling to effectively engage in their daily lives.
